![]() I dig the characterization (like Antiquarian being an enemy because she wants to profit off the chaos) but the game barely even made sense on some subtler things. >Crusader and Vestal gone >Some bitch with a firepoker replacing themĬrusader is probably gonna be a boss ala Antiquarian honestly. ![]() stop parroting things you read off of Ganker But with DD2 being a world-ending affair, it made no sense to have the characters all go from acting like occasionally pissy jackasses to having them constantly like act spoiled teenagers. These are mercenaries fighting a voluntary effort and they can get understandably stressed. Remember how they got rid of Crusader and Vestal because they said religion is problematic and evil?ĭD1's arguments could get irritating, but it made some sense there. Literally, just being a different universe, even with more or less the same classes and combat, would have done wonders for the game The game would have generally been better off named something else, as if a spiritual sequel, specially because people dont want to see their beloved characters acting like absolute spoiled teenagers. ![]() >game doesnt have any of the themes of darkest dungeon like being a campaign or the darkest dungeon itself >relationships are significantly more complicated and far more punishing, while in DD1 everyone treated eachother equally (bar abomination) and had a sense of pure unfiltered brotherhood
